Thinking of doing this every morning so people can say the cool things they seen on their commutes to work today and home from work last night.
I didn't see much other than the sun blinding me as I drive towards it. Seen a group of deer that lost their horns recently, might have to go shed hunting. Yes, Redneck.
How was your commute?
Audi for fun.

My commute was typical but I laughed when I pulled into the parking lot at work. Arms UP!

Not sure if I should make a Portal joke or a raise the roof joke.

A lady in a Land Cruiser decided to play it safe on dry pavement, topping out at 35 mph on the highway. I suspect it was a left foot braker, but she also could have been riding her brakes hard.
That was odd.

safety first, pull over to om nom nom :]

Unintentional Oppo due to black ice.
Got to work stepped out of my car and almost immediately busted my ass, due to ice.

Last Friday, some lady in a newer Malibu casually rolled through a stop light. We came to a halt when the light turned red; I was directly behind her. A car went through the intersection. Then, she slowly rolled past the light like HATERS GON HATE, causing a person to brake for her.
I don't usually flip people off, but I caught up to this woman and flipped her off.

I saw a lot more ice on the roads than I expected this morning. Given that, the slow person managed to only drive slow on the obviously clear sections of the highway.

The worst was when I saw someone DRIVING with their wipers still up last week.

Today was miraculously clear on I75 in southeast Michigan considering the snow we got last night. I almost wanted to pull over and take a picture on my way back from the gym yesterday, but with absolutely zero visibility and snow piling up quickly it wasn't worth getting rear ended and I just wanted to get home. I should really get a dashcam.

Oh we had some fun this morning. Metro Detroit got up to 5 inches of snow in some areas (mine) and as little as 2 in other areas (work area). Let's see what I found!
A FWD 4 Cyl. Fusion (last gen) which was freaking out and slamming on it's brakes at the last second in an inch of snow (with clear track lanes to drive in) whenever it hit about 30 mph.
A 4Runner that had 20" (estimate, surprisingly didn't have a dub decal on it to tell me) driving in the snowiest part of the road.
A new 2014 Cadillac CTS that almost made me feint while driving because of how beautiful it was! (Black, and WOW)
An idiot who did such a poor job clearing the snow off his car his entire headlight/blinker area was still covered. But thanks for turning the lights on in your Pontiac G5.

My only experience on Kellogg is in the Riverbend/Coney Island region.
And that:

my hour ride to and from work would make me an interesting contributor to this post if it's a daily thing lol

Depending on how much traffic the post gets I might keep on it everyday. If not, maybe every 2 days.

Hah I had one car the wipers wouldn't close because they were encased in ice this weekend, but I eventually smashed all the ice off them. Nice.

Pretty sure had I gone to work this morning, the roads would have been a total shit show.

I need to get a dashcam so that I can post pictures of all the stupid shit I see.
Here goes: someone nicely let me in because traffic was backed up all the way to my side street. (This isn't all that uncommon. The traffic engineers in the Chicago suburbs suffer from cranial-rectal insertion and are seemingly unable to grasp the idea of timed traffic lights.) Thank you, guy in the gold Focus Wagon for letting me in BTW. Then crawled the mile or so to the first major intersection to see someone with an Explorer SporTrac had a wheel fall off. OK, source of the backup identified, zipper merged successfully.
The rest of the drive was fairly uneventful until near the end when I decided I was going to try to make the last light before work. Snow packed still from the last night, traction off, come in hot, front end pointed in, late apex, counter steer, power out, stuck behind a Camaro on all seasons...
TL;DR: all-in-all good drive, idiot had a wheel fall off at the beginning causing the usual chaos of the Chicago suburbs to be a little worse; with a splash of successful hoonage at the end.

Commute was poop.
The other day, though, I saw a 458 on the way. Had a little wing on the back. Looked like it meant da business.
And then I almost got run off the road by an Oak Meadow Baptist Church maintenance truck of some sort. I'm guessing it was a maintenance truck. Buncha church decals on a beater Ford. Freakin' scary. Creeper didn't want to let me on the freeway, then got RIGHT in front of whereever I pulled into. I finally just pulled close behind another car and didn't leave him room, then he turned off onto another road, than goodness.
I looked up the church. Guy had a similar build as the pastor. REALLY hoping it wasn't their pastor. Jesus would not approve of this, guy.
Totally ruined my 458y morning.

In fine. Out sucked because of tailgating asshats. There were 2 thin strips of semi exposed blacktop for your wheels with packed snow everywhere else. I had three cars on my tail till I approached a rotary with a fiesta doing a full 180. Then I get some room.
